Alexus and Luiza present poster at Biology of Lizards

During this summer, Dr. Goode and a few members of our research team attended the first Biology of Lizards conference, which was held at the Chiricahua Desert Museum in Rodeo, New Mexico. Dr. Goode gave a talk about the Stone Canyon Project, while focusing on the effects of urbanization on Gila Monsters. Two of our undergraduates, Alexus Cazares and Luiza Samora, gave a poster presentation on the Urban Ecology of Desert Spiny Lizards. This was a unique opportunity for our undergraduates to learn about lizard research being done and to meet several well known herpetologists!
